Hi, I have these two exhaust fan models at home and I’m not sure how to check if the white series fan switch would be compatible with them. I currently have a single-pole switch controlling each fan.
Thanks

Assuming you have a neutral in the switch box, then I don’t see any reason why not. Both fans are rated at 0.3A @ 115/120 VAC. The Fan switch is rated at 2.5A and is rated for AC exhaust fans.
You will need to configure the exhaust fan as a Exhaust (On/Off) switch rather than a ceiling fan however that is covered in the doc that comes with the switch.
If you have any questions about identifying a neutral, take a picture of the wiring in the box with the switch pulled out showing all the wire in the back of box and someone here will take a look at it.
Since you configure the fan switch as an on/off for exhaust fans, I’m wondering why you don’t just use the On/Off version. This eliminates any issues that may arise with the power being routed through the switch’s speed control circuitry.
For your fans, you may find that there is a 3-wire and a 3-way switch controlling them. If that’s the case, one position of the 3-way switch turn the fan on full time, the other position puts the fan in the humidity sensing position.
Regardless of which Inovelli you use, you’ll still wire this as a 2-way. Don’t get confused if you find a 3-way dumb switch installed presently. If you do have a 3-wire at the switch box, you’ll have to determine which conductor powers the fan full time and which puts the fan in the humidity sensing mode, and just use one of those for the load. Those will most likely be the black and the red.
If you only have a 2-wire at the switch box, then the mode is hard wired and you’ll just wire it like a normal 2-way. See the wiring sections in the installation instructions for further clarification:
Thanks for confirmation. I really appreciate it.
I believe the on/off feature is the only one that I need. I was considering the Fan switch only because it’s an exhaust fan and I have no knowledge on which switch to use. I purchased a fan switch to test it, but If the on/off switches can handle the load, I’ll purchase it for other bathrooms.
I have Neutral in the switch boxes.
Either SHOULD work, although there have been sporadic reports of the fan switch having issues with SOME exhaust fans. Since you already have the fan switch, I’d try it first.
