LZW31 with aux and neutral - aux can turn off, but not on

Hello,

I just got my first (used) Inovell product, a LZW31 dimmer, wired up along with an Inovelli aux switch. I have a neutral bundle and wired it accordingly. Once included via HA / Z-Wave JS UI, I made the basic tweaks to the parameters to fit my situation, and everything seemed to be working including on / off at the aux switch.

Immediately thereafter, I noticed that there were firmware updates available and I updated to 1.57.

Unfortunately, I can no longer turn on the lights at the aux switch (but I can turn them off). In fiddling around, I discovered that if I change parameter 21 to “no neutral”, the aux will allow me to turn on and off again. But I am a bit confused - I am 99% sure that I had it set to “neutral” and it was working correctly, prior to that firmware update.

I did try to exclude, re-include, factory reset, etc. to no avail.

Appreciate any help!

Edit: Seems like the working on / off with “no neutral” setting is not consistent either - I am able to reproduce it occasionally when toggling some settings back and forth, but seems to mostly not be working that way, either.

What is P22 set to?

You can also try:

Exclude, factory reset and re-add

Or

Upgrade to 1.61

P22 is set to multi switch aux.

I did try to exclude, and it didn’t seem to recognize my effort to do so. I ended up forcing the issue by factory resetting, removing the broken node, and re-adding, but that didn’t solve.

I didn’t immediately see an option for 1.61, but will check into that.
