So I tried looking up the fan on Overstock, which is where we bought it, and Amazon and Walmart and none of the descriptions specify whether it’s AC or DC. Here’s a link to the fan from where we bought it:

It came with a remote/receiver that I just didn’t install with it, and instead installed the LZW36 receiver but it’s not functioning how one would expect.
Ok so I looked at the canopy receiver that came with the fan and one of the wires said AC Power Input, so I’m going to guess it’s AC. Also the fan has pull chains, and from what I was reading DC fans usually don’t.
Try removing the canopy and hook up regular with dumb switch. See if fan works normally. Then let’s add the Inovelli. Make sure you leave the pull chain set to HIGH on fan before disconnecting power.
