Slow Fan Startup On Low/Medium Speeds

I just replaced an old GE/Jasco Z-Wave fan switch with the new White Series Fan Switch. One difference that I noticed is that the fan seems a take a long time to get up to speed when it’s starting from off to low/medium speed.

It seemed like on my old GE/Jasco switch, it would start the fan at full power for a short moment to get the fan up to the desired speed, then it would maintain the desired speed. Whereas at almost seems like the Inovelli only supplies the lower power for the desired speed and this then takes a while for the fan to gain momentum.

Is this expected behavior or is there a config setting I missed somewhere?

You want to set the “quick start time”. See White Series Fan Switch • Button Combinations, Quick Tap Sequences & Local Configuration Options | Inovelli Help Center

That was it, thank you. I found setting it to 3 seconds seem to give it enough time to speed up to near the low speed.

It would be nice if this was a configuration parameter able to be set remotely in a hub like Home Assistant.
