Hey guys!
We are still working through our backorders for the On/Off switches. As Bry said, a lot of the labels were printed but there are only a certain number of packages that the postal service can pickup at a time. We are doing our best to get these out to you guys as soon as we can!
Thank you for your patience on this!
It’s been a week so far and still in pre-shipment status. Have you considered also using UPS?
We use both. If you didn’t choose a shipping option you generally get USPS Ground Advantage since its the cheapest. I also went on vacation for 4 days so didn’t fill orders during that time. Yours has been picked up and it should be active tracking shortly.
Thanks Courtney!
Are there any manuals for the White On/Off switch? I’m not seeing anything here.
In addition to manuals for on/off, the integration in Home Assistant is confused at best. It shows options to change modes to dimmer + aux (makes not sense to me) and the labeling is waaaayyyy off. I think there are options for dim durations for on, on/off, off but also durations for the RGB led bar. The color picker seems to pick the load on/off LED color but you can’t pick a color for the RGB bar (say you want to set the status red, but have it reset for normal on/off colors when using teh switch like the others.
Looking for this?
thanks, that was not out there on weekend or i missed it. however, that’s what is in the box. it doesn’t have any of the configuration settings , quick tap and parameters set using config button which is what i’m really after.
Yeah, I understand this was a highly anticipated product and they wanted to get it out ASAP, but a lot of this should have been up and ready for the release. It doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in me as somebody who’s looking to move away from a competing product that the manual and support page weren’t live until a week after I got the product.
I also reached out to support to ask a question and got an initially completely incorrect answer. I eventually got the right answer, but only after a few back and forth emails.
To me, these two experiences make me think that the product may be good, but I’m worried about ever needing support.
For the first switch, if neutral for sure has good contact, my first thought is a faulty switch. No other settings have been changed on it or anything else unique about it?
For the second switch, thanks for the additional information. I am not sure what is going on as this is not something we saw in our beta testing. It also doesn’t seem like anything on the blue series on/off. Since it seems fairly easy to replicate, I think we should be able to determine a root cause quickly, but we will probably be gathering more information about it today.
Thank you for helping us bring this project to life, especially our beta testers. We always enjoy when the community comes together to rally around a project and this one was has been no different
We will be closing out this thread now that the project is completed. The next step is to improve on the switch and if you have any bug reports and/or enhancements you’d like to see, please comment in this thread:
If you are having issues with your switch and require troubleshooting, please open up a separate thread so we can help or reach out to customer service.
Thanks again!
