Dimmer mode can’t be changed via Z-Wave JS UI

I know it’s beta firmware. I just couldn’t figure out if it was reported somewhere else first or where to report it.

This is by design. For safety reasons this parameter can only be adjusted at the switch and not through the hub (for any hub or dimmer model).

Is that just for the red series? Because you can change that setting in the blue series.

You’re not supposed to be able to. This parameter should be made read only in ZHA as well. @EricM_Inovelli @chack for visibility.

Yes, it is meant to be read only. You can change the setting at the switch, or if the you scroll down to the bottom of the configuration section in the z-wave js you can manually change parameter 26. Make sure you don’t have any unsupported load attached and adjust it using either method.
