I thought I’d post this in case someone had the same obscure error that I had. I originally posted about my difficulties here:
In short, when I had my 20ish White dimmers managed by my Amazon Echos, they wouldn’t stay stable for more than a couple days before I had to reset the whole system.
It turns out, my specific model of Echos were causing the problem. The Echo Gen 4 (and ONLY the Echo Gen 4) is stuck on Thread 1.1.1, which doesn’t seem to be stable above 10 devices. I bought some used Echo Pro 2s from Ebay, and the whole system has been stable for a week now. Go figure!
All other Thread-capable echos use Thread 1.3, so avoid the Gen 4 like the plague and you’ll be fine.
