I don’t recognize that as a symptom. We can go back over wiring and settings to double-check, though.
Can you post pics of the dimmer so that I can see the connections to it and also into the box?

@Bry sure! So it was much easier to figure out the wiring once I detached the dumb switch and got everything really pulled out. The white we found out is my hot so I have that going to the line and also on the line I have that black which is running to neutral of the aux switch in the other box.
Then we got the black load and the red traveler going back to the aux as well.
Okay thanks. That looks good from the parts that I can see.
I see a lot of exposed metal on the traveler conductor. It’s either too long or it’s not in very well. Please pull it and re-seat it. Make sure it is in between the backing plate and the outside of the switch so that it is drawn tight by the screw.
What is the load? Smart bulbs or no? It’s smart bulbs, is the dimmer in the smart bulb mode?
@Bry Yea I can re seat that after work it is in there really good but is very long so I can trim a bit. In the fixture is a 9w dimmable led bulb no smart I programmed the switch for 3 way with aux and as a dimmer
Not really sure what’s causing the issue. A couple things to try:
Maybe @rohan can help with the HA side of things.
@harjms Non-neutral w/an Aux. One 9W dimmable non-smart LED. Switch works fine. Aux turns dimmer on, but does not turn it off or dim. Any thoughts?
@Bry small update my wife said last night it worked for her 1 time when she came down just out of habit she hit it and it did go off I just tried again still turns it on for me but not off
I’m leaning toward this being a signalling issue, hence the reduce the max brightness and the bypass. After you try those, Inovelli may have some thoughts about how to mitigate signalling issues.
@Bry ok I’ll Install the bipass after work thanks!!
@Bry also just tried 80% and it turned right off
Signaling issue would be my guess too, it could be a “noisy” bulb. I’d also try swapping the bulb if the 80% max brightness is too low.
So if the dimming and the on-off work at 80%, that’s the fix. I’d still try the bypass to see if it helps.
@Bry yea I’m gonna install the bypass after work hopefully that keeps it straight I also noticed some minimal flickering on another light so I’m gonna install one there as well
@rohan thanks for the reply the 80% isn’t to low at all it’s actually about perfect but I do live with others so I don’t want it to get turned up more and not have them know how to turn it back off if it gets back on 100% lol
If you set the max to 80, that will become the new 100%.
@Bry @rohan the bypass seems to have done the trick all is working as it should now!! I installed the last switch today as well and it’s got a I do t wanna call it blinking more like occasional pulse it’s not consistent and dose t seem to matter about brightness it’s a dual bulb fixture tried 1 and 2 bulbs also tried with and without the bypass
