Bulb and Fan Compatibility App Link Not Working

Does anyone have a working link for the Bulb and Fan Compatibility App? The link here just redirects back to the same page.

You should probably just post what you are anticipating doing here. I’m not sure that the app is very much up to date.

Bummer, well the lights we have in our home are way too cool and don’t offer color temperature options. We bought a Halo RL4 to test with and noticed that the light doesn’t fade on/off as smoothly as the others. By that I mean when I set a value of 2 (out of 255) on the Inovelli blue dimmer the light just turns on fairly bright. Much brighter than the previous lights and a very abrupt on/off.

So, I was wondering if there was a place that had a recommendation for what lights to use.

Bumping this topic - is there an answer on if the Bulb Compatibility App is working or not? All links (e.g. https://inovelli.com/pages/compatible-bulb-fan-app) return a 404.

Trying to troubleshoot a flickering issue with Philips UltraDefinition LED A19 E26 60W equivalent bulbs from Home Depot (Canada). They work in most fixtures with Inovelli switches - but not one. Does not seem to make a difference if it’s set to Leading or Trailing Edge.

I don’t think I’d rely upon the app to resolve your issue. I don’t know if that bulb is in there or not, but you already know it’s compatible since it’s working in all of your fixtures except one, right?

Focus on what is different on the one that’s not working opposed to the rest.

  • Same firmware?
  • Same load? i.e. Seems to work with multiple bulbs but not just one, or vice versa.
  • 2-way, 3-way, etc?
  • Neutral vs non-neutral (guessing neutral since you tried trailing edge?)

Have you factory reset the switch to see if that resolves the issue?

I have 11 switches, all same firmware, all with neutral wire, recently double-checked the problem switch for tight connections. Similar loads on other switches but not exactly the same - e.g. 5 bulbs instead of the 3 on the problem switch.

I will try a factory reset. And no I can’t rely on the app because it’s 404 :slight_smile:

Yeah, unfortunately the app has gone the way of the Dodo.
