Use Case - I want local control via the dimmer to turn on light to 40%. When I use an app or voice command I want light to turn on to whatever percentage I say.
i.e. Turn light on to 60% - light should turn on to 60% | If I turn on light via switch it goes to 40%
Issue - I’m unsure if this is a bug, unsupported, or I have something configured wrong. Whenever I action via dimmer it goes to 40%, however when I use remote control and say turn on to 60% it turns on 60% and immediately jumps down to 40%.
How are your voice/remote commands related to the bulb/switch? For example, are the voice commands adjusting just the bulb or a Zigbee group containing both the switch and bulb?
Bulb is exposed to Apple HomeKit via home assistant HomeKit bridge. Both using HA or Siri voice commands or light controls have the same effect when turning on to a set value. On the on value then reverting to the local switch defined on value right after.
Yes switch state is following flawlessly as well as bulb state in app follows exactly no matter which one I action. It’s just the local default overriding any remote % on action.
Interesting, I wouldn’t expect the switch to turn on if you’re directly toggling the bulb in HA. Can you paste screenshots of your bindings for both the switch and the bulb devices?
